Duplicate entries created in Google Calendar

Each time the sync runs, it finds zero entries in my Google Calendar, so it adds all the entries from Outlook. However, they were already added last time - so they are duplicated every time! I attach a Google Calendar screenshot, after three sync operations.

What is your number of days to sync set to?

Mine used to get a little lost with too many calendar entries.

I've set mine to 120 days (and 1 day in the past) and this problem has gone away.

Maybe try a week, then month to see if you can find your sweetspot.

I'd extended it to 180 days, and put it back to 60, but it's still the same. I'd prefer as much as possible - a week isn't really enough!

I registered to share a fix that might apply to some users.
  • Open your task manager (Process tab) and make sure you terminate all processes of OGS
  • Create a new Google calendar as your test calendar
  • Fire up OGS again and point it to your newly created Google calendar to sync
  • Set your days (past / present: successfully tested 30/360 with no dups)
  • Check task manager again to make sure you only have a single OGS process running
  • Sync and wait for about 2-3 minutes, if 30/360
Good luck (YMMV)

It somehow has to do with the number of entries the program can take.
What I want to have is 30 days back and 90 days in the future.
I tried different combinations, first taking days 0-10, then 0-20, 0-30 etc., thus making the program sync a smaller amount of appointments per time it syncs.
The point where the program finds zero entries in the Google Calendar is not reproducable. It happens at a different point. I cannot get it to work though :(.

Would be a great program if it would not have this issue. It's no use having multiple instances of the appointments in my calendar...

I have exactly the same issue; it was working fine since august 2014, and without changing anything to my usage of OutlookGoogleSync, duplicates begins to appear in my google calendar.
I deduced that Google has changed something, that makes OutlookGoogleSync not working anymore correctly...
any suggestion is welcome!

You can try Calendar Sync. Plus http://calendarysyncplus.codeplex.com You can download the Zip (Portable) too.
It supports Outlook->Google,Google-> Outlook and Outlook <=> Google, multiple profile syncs.
It checks for duplicate entries too.
